Access to the Val d’Aran can be done with 4 different routes:
From Pallars taking the Bonaigua Pass (2072 meters) on highway C-28 which travels 48 km of the valley until reaching the border at the Pont de Rei. The most frequent arrival is through the 5173 meter long Vielha tunnel. The tunnel connects RIbagorça (southern entrance at 1626m) with Aran (northern entrance at 1390m). From France through the Pont de Rei arriving to the French highway N-618 which becomes the N-230. From Bagneres de Luchon passing through the Portilló this French highway N-125 becomes the N-141 until reaching Bossost.
