Aubèrt

The first village the highway traverses when leaving from Vielha going towards France. It has a peculiar urban layout whose typical Aranese civil architecture adapts symbolically to the capricious forms of its small streets. Aubèrt is the starting point of a number of itineraries to beautiful spots of Aran such as the Baricauba forest presided over by its church which is a representation of the typical Aranese Romanesque architecture of the Valley.
