Betren

The village of Betren borders Vielha with houses and streets that reach the entrance of the old town. The old of Betren is one of the most beautiful of the Valley given its rustic flavour and the stone houses. The church dedicated to San Esteban with its earliest references dating back to the 14th century supposes a prelude to the Gothic art and is also where some examples of the coexistence of Romanesque and Gothic styles both in its archictecture and its sculpture.
