This village is located in an extraordinary area watched over by Montcorbison. It offers exceptional views of Vielha and Baquiera, towards Naut Aran. It is the first village of the valley when crossing the tunnel of Vielha. Its church, dedicated to Saint Andrew, is a good example of various architectural styles coming together. This church is considered unique due to its bell tower, one of the oldest ones in the valley, dated back to the 18th century. It is also worth mentioning the magnificent collection of sculptures inside it. From Casau one can go up towards the so-called pond ‘Bassa de Oles’ at the base of Montcorbison mountain, where one can start several beautiful hiking itineraries.
