By horses, dogs or on a snowmobile

For those who love the snow and wish to enjoy the white gold, but in a different way will find the Beret Flats to be the perfect scenario for a number of activities. Sleds pulled by dogs or by horses and snowmobiling are a great way to enjoy a romantic moment with your partner or a fun time in a group or family as well as with the little ones. The three "sledding" styles offer unique and totally different sensations. It is difficult to express in words the different ways of experiencing the beauty of the landscape of this area known as Beret-Montgarri.

The dog sledding activities (mushing) can also be done with a return trip on snowmobiles so one can enjoy both activities on the same itinerary. The nervousness of the Husky dogs just before they start their run awakes the visitor to the exciting sensations they will experience just like the best Alaskan adventures seen in documentaries.

The Nordic sleds pulled by the horses remind us,from their size and shape, of the world of Santa Claus, but with the peculiar difference being that instead of reindeer as the motor of the sled you will find local horses. These horses are a part of the Hispano-Breton breed. The perspective offered from above in these sleds, built in Norway, allow a better view of the marvelous landscape given their construction. As one rides these sleds the silence of the forest is only broken by the ringing of their bells.

The more adventurous and dynamic have the option of riding and driving a snowmobile. No special permit is required just the experience of the guide who will orient the visitor along the routes exclusively prepared for these vehicles. As a result there is no impact on this delicate natural environment.
