An urban nucleus at 1500 meters above sea level is home to the winter ski resort, Baqueira-Beret, which was declared a Center of National Tourist Interest in full expansion. The resort has all the modern amenities and commodities for all kinds of tourism: long stay, sporting events or weekends. The residential area, next to the main ski resort, is connected by road with Plan de Beret, the second important core of the resort.
