This village full of excellent restaurants has an interesting urban area with windy uphill streets and several noteworthy typical Aranese houses, most of them converted into Rural Tourism establishments. Within this set of houses, there is the oldest one in Val d’Aran, Ço de Perejoan, which was built in 1393 and has been declared a property of Cultural Interest. The village church is dedicated to San Pedro. Its portal and Crucified Christ, similar to both the Christ of Sant Miqueu in Vielha and the Christ of Sant Martí de Tours in Gausac, will leave an impression on the visitor.
