Montgarri

The Sanctuary of Montgarri is located nearby the Noguera Pallaresa river, on the southern side of the mountains known as ‘Es Bandolèrs’. It belongs to Naut Aran. Although the present building is from the 16th century, its origin goes back to 1117-1119 when, according to tradition, Virgin Mary was found.
