The new microsite dedicated to all forms of amateur cycling practiced in the Val d’Aran, is hosted on the website of Torisme de Val d’Aran, with nearly a hundred sections and in 4 languages, Aran Total Bike has become one of the most visited places during the lasts years.
The microsite is designed to provide maximum service to visitors. In it there are described the 30 routes of the Val d’Aran BTT Centre classified by levels: easy, medium, difficult and very difficult. In addition to the technical data -distance, altitude, approximate time of completion and tracks GPX- itinerary, interesting elements and native vegetation are also described.
Aran Total Bike also includes a full paragraph devoted to Cycle Touring with all the information about the Aranese ports 7 marked and 9 unmarked; and the two star routes: Le Défi Occitain and Vielha Circular. It has also allocated a space to the four major routes through the Val d’Aran: Aran Aneu, Era Roda, Pedals de Foc and Pedals d’Occitània; and fans of mountain descents also find DH and Enduro itineraries and marked areas.
Also noteworthy is the considerable and useful additional information included in the site. From the data of BTT Centre Val d’Aran, point of reception, information and advice; to the various companies specializing in cycling: guides, sales, repair and rental; plus maps, photographs, news, events and valuable tips and recommendations for practice safer and responsible cycling.
The microsite Aran Total Bike is an initiative of Conselh Generau d’Aran and Torisme de la Val d’Aran developed in collaboration with the Centre de Lauegi d’Aran.
