La torre del Generau Martinhon is a 17th-Century stately home located in Vielha. Since 1984, this monument has been the headquarters of the Aran Valley Museum. Its three floors feature a standing exhibition and all the facilities required by any good museum (store, restoration workshop, administrative area and documentation centre).
The standing exhibition presents a synthesis of the history of the valley, from prehistory to the present, plus an interesting collection of archaeological, artistic and ethnographic objects.
