About 600 skiers, including some of the best national and international athletes of this modality, will participate in the ISMF World Cup Val d’Aran. The event, which will take place in Baqueira Beret on 8 and 9 April, will decide the world champion.

The ISMF will have an individual test on Saturday and a vertical on Sunday. The tour of the individual will be very technical with some of the downsides by the terrain of the station. The Era Pujada of Sunday will maintain its vertical mode in a very demanding race, with departure from the Pla de Beret and goal at the top of the Pic deth Dossau.

Organized by the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya (CEC) and the CE de Aran, ISMF has the support of the Federació d’Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya (FEEC) and FEDME, in addition to the collaboration of the Consèlh Generau d’Aran, council of Naut Aran, council of Vielha and the council of Bagergue.

The Conselh Generau d’Aran hosted yesterday the presentation of the ski mountaineering national team, which was attended by the World Champion Kilian Jornet and the technicians and other team members. The Cronoski Era Pujada scoring for the Copa de España

The next weekend will be a new edition of the Cronoski Era Pujada, mountain ski competition organized by the Mountaineering Club d’Aran. The race, in which collaborate the Conselh Generau and Torisme de la Val d’Aran, is scoring the Copa de España 2015 this year.

The Cronoski starts Saturday 19th at 12 noon in Beret and recovers the route of the first year, departing from the station of the chairlift Cloth der Os, where runners soar to the top of Dossau. Junior and cadet categories will depart from the station below of the chairlift Dossau.
