
Baqueira Beret will organize its second International Ski Federation (FIS) Snowboard Cross World Cup, which will take place on March 1st and 2nd. This will be the second event of the highest level of the FIS of this modality organized by the ski resort of Val d’Aran.

International athletes include the charismatic Australian Alex Pullin, winner in Baqueira in 2016, and the Frenchman Pierre Vaultier, gold medal in the Olympic Games of Sochi’14 and PyeongChang’18.
The presentation of the competition took place last January 16 in the Samaranch Hall of the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) and counted with the intervention of María José Rienda, president of the Consejo Superior de Deportes, May Peus España, president of RFEDI, Lucas Eguibar, snowboardcross athlete of RFEDI, Xavier Ubeira, commercial director of Baqueira Beret and Rafael Fernández de Alarcón, global sponsorship director of Telefónica.
